1. King Christian X of Denmark rides every morning around the streets of Copenhagen unescorted and unarmed. 2. Annemarie's older sister Lise was killed in an accident.
In chapter 2 the auther explains new things 1. Annemarie has a sister who died in an acccedent. 2. She knows about King Cristian and how all of Dennmark is his body gaurds. 3. Annemarie and her parents are probably Jews.
Annmarie's sister,Lise passed away right after her wedding.King Christian rode on his horse by himself without any bodyguard because the people of Denmark was his protection.Peter,Lise's finance always was in a hurry to talk to Annmaries parents.
1. King Christian is protected by the citizens. 2. Annemarie said she would die for the King. 3. Lise is dead. 4. Peter would talk to Annemarie's parents about stuff she didn't understand.
I learned many things in chapter 2. One is that before the war King Christian the tenth rode through the town with his horse and nobody except for the people of Denmark protecting him.
1.I learned that any Danish person would die for the king. 2.I learned that Danish children were put to sleep with fairy tales. 3.I also learned that after Lise died, Peter and Papa changed.
1.King Christian rides alone in the city. 2.We learned that Lise has died. 3.Kristie likes fairy tails. 4.Her dad had told her a story about what went on out side is office. 5. Lise had been a nice sister to the two girls.
1.King Christen goes alone and he does not have a bodyguard.His bodyguard are the people of Denmark. 2.Denmark would do any thing for there their king like die for him. 3.Annemarie's parents have been getting news papers that might have stuff about Danis.

When I read the story I knew that Kristi the younger sister is not scared of the Nazi and Annemarie is scared of the Nazi,and Lisa the older sister died from an accident before she married Peter when Lisa was alive she would take Annemarie to see King Christian.

I first learned that fairytales are very popular in Denmark, Amalienborg was the palace King Christian X lived, KIng Christian's horse was named Jubilee, and Peter was going to marry Lise. Later, I learned that all of Denmark is King Christian's body guard, Lise dies in an "accident", and everything has changed in Annemarie's world. Also, there were no pink cupcakes!

King Kristin rides unguarded every morning. All of Denmark is the kings body guard.
