Both talk about Danes saving Jews ,and they both said that they would hide Jewish people in buildings cabins and other places. The video said that Danes would take Jews on a boat and move them far away and the story talked about going fishing so I think that might be a something to do with that.
The setting in both the book and the video is back in Denmark during World War II. The problem facing them is about the Danish Jews. The video talks about escaping and going to different countries. In the book many people are either hiding or escaping to different countries.
The connection I get is that the video shows hoe w they all ran away and that the Jews did not trust Hitler or soldiers they fled homes and everything to be safe away far from Hitler. The Jews in the book were reading are the Rosens and the Rosens have to get away from these Nazi soldiers so peter took Ellens parents (Mrs. and Mr. Rosen) and hid them somewhere else they left Ellen because it would be easyist for the Johansens to help on small 10 year old child then to help to grown parents so when they did this the Nazi soldiers came to their apartment and peeked around so Ellen a Jewish child pretends ti be Lise. Lise is Peters Fiance but saldly she died in a car accident 2 weeks before the wedding but the soldiers did not know this so they thought that Ellen really was Lise and Ellen escaped the first Nazi soldiers that would suspect them.
I connect to the video and the story because in the video it talked about people being hidden in many different places in Denmark and in the story Annemarie and her family are actually hiding/helping Jews (Ellen and her family). Also I predict that Uncle Hendrick is going to take Ellen to Sweden in one of his little fishing boats.

It said something about a warning and it reminded me of the soldier who gave a warning where the Rosens went before Mrs. and Mr. Rosen went away. I heard in the video that Jews were protected by non Jew people like the Joansens protected Ellen.
