Despereaux 8: Chiaroscuro - Darkness or Light?


By the end of the Book the Second, do you believe Roscuro is filled with more darkness or light?  How can you tell?

    I think for right now he is filled with more darkness than light because he is getting carried away with being a rat. But I still think he wants to be in the light and be the rat that he wants to be!

    Liam, do you think Roscuro's behavior is similar to human behavior? Do people act the way Roscuro is acting?

      I think we always have different thoughts on who's dark or who's light. I know Chiaroscuro is indeed very light but deep, deep, down roscuro is a rat with a broken heart and can never be fixed again so.....Sadly roscuro is dark.

    I think Roscuro is filled with more light than darkness, but cannot show it because he is a rat. He wants to belive he is a pure dark-hearted rat, but he knows he isnt.

    I think Roscuro has darkness inside him because in my opinion maybe he was the other rat taking deserearux to the dungeon.
