There are several references to light and dark throughout the first section of the book. What do you think light might mean in the story? What does dark mean? What ideas from the story symbolize or represent the light and dark?
Are there other stories, books, or movies that come to mind where the writer or author used images of light or dark to make a point?

ReplyDeleteI haven't read the whole two books but it's probably because hes special. I guess it's something about him that's just important... Like he can see past things other mice just don't even try to notice.

DeleteI think that the rats are kind of representing the dark. The dark being evil,cruel,rotton, and mean. The mice, in some ways are light. I think you already know what light means judging by the fact that I explain dark. I think that the mice(in other ways) can be dark to. Everybody (even mice!) have a dark,bad,evil side to them.!!
