Amos and Red Moccasin

Write a paragraph that explains how Amos and Red Moccasin are similar and different.

  1. Amos is burdened with the death of his friend, Simon. Red Moccasin is burdened with the death of his family. Amos doesn't like indians, and Red Moccasin doesn't like white people. Red Moccasin is tough and hard-core, while Amos always reliant on his sister to keep going. They are very different in some ways, but alike in others.

    1. Probably. In the book though, they weren't really friends, but Amos wanted to be. Red Moccasin, on the other hand, didn't think of Amos as a friend, he just respected him for saving his life. If they spent more time together, I bet it would work out.

    2. The death of Simon and the death of Red Moccasin's parents make them similar. They both have lost loved ones. Red Moccasin is an Indian and Amos is a white: two big enemies. Red Moccasin is independent while Amos follows his sister. I think if they just had a little more time together they could become friends.

  3. I think Amos and Reed Moccasin are similar and different. Amos and Red Moccasin are similar because they both lost loved ones, Amos lost Simon and Red Moccasin lost his parents. They should or try to recover from their losses. They are different because Red Moccasin would go and get his own food while Amos relies on his family.
