But when the British got to Lexington there were a bunch of Americans ready to fight. someone fired the first shot of the American Revolution at Lexington. The British forced the Americans to retreat to Concord. The Americans arrived at Concord and ordered their troops to gather by the bridge. The British arrived and started ripping the bridge apart so the Americans started fighting. They forced the British back to Boston and the Revolution began.
Basically the story is about when British soldiers traveled to Lexington to take away all the colonist's ammunition and weapons. Once the British arrived to Lexington the colonists were ready to attack. One British soldier then thought he heard fire, so he fired this marked the American Revolution. After firing the colonists ran to Concord. The colonists got in their firing positions at the bridge. When the British arrived they started to rip out the bridge, so the colonists started to fire. All the British soldiers ran away.

This made colonists mad and then every one started shooting and then something happened, the war began.Then the British went to the bridge to guard it but the colonists saw that and came running down to stop them and the British tried to pull apart the bridge but it was to late. The British ran away after the colonists started shooting at them.
