  12. I think Harriet Tubman should have been on the 20 dollar bill years ago. Not only did she risk her life many times, she freed over 300 slaves. She got tortured, and tortured, and tortured until she ran away. You don't want that to happen in your own house,do you? She was brave and never gave up.

  14. I think that she should be on the $20 bill because she helped save 300 slaves on 17 different missions and it all started when she decided to go up north and be free. But she couldn't be there without her family so she would sneak them up the Underground Railroad and continued even though she almost had been spotted saving her parents. The reason she wasn't spotted was another African-American had felt bad for them and unscrewed the wheel. She eventually became a spy and a nurse for the union army.

  18. In my opinion, Harriet Tubman should be on money, but not to replace our 7th president. I believe that Harreit was a brave and courageous women who risked her life to save slaves from the South, yet still I don't think that she should replace Andrew Jackson. Though it seems ideal to put her on the $20.00 bill(since she recieved $20.00 when she went out to rescue her father), but she still shouldn't replace president Jackson. It's a good idea though, to have Harriet Tubman on money, so I suggest that they make up a new bill, like a $15.00 bill, $25.00 bill, or $40.00 bill.

  39. Harriet Tubman was courageous and risked her life helping slaves travel the underground railroad. She certainly deserves recognition, but I feel that they should put her on something else, maybe a pay check or something that could represent her daring acts without removing our 7th president. But once again, I do think she should have a place on the $20 bill.
